Seattle Paddle (formerly NW Paddle Surfers) was launched in the Fall of 2009 by Dan Eberhardt and Jeff Underwood after they had created and hosted the first Round the Rock Stand Up Paddle Event (a 13 mile race around Mercer Island). Friends since college, they love every sort of water activity imaginable. However, their favorite activities are surfing and stand up paddling (SUP). In order to share their passion with a larger chunk of the population, they formed a SUP rental business on Lake Washington. With two locations in Kirkland and one in Seattle near Seward Park. Seattle Paddle is now the go-to place in the PNW for first time SUP-ers and kayakers and seasoned paddlers looking to improve their technique, Stand Up Paddle yoga enthusiasts, camps for kids, birthday parties, corporate outings and those just looking for some of that NW stoke!
